MUMBA Summer Camp Program

Summer Camp Program

The program is open to both boys and girls and the participants are grouped by age and basketball ability. We have a low pupil to instructor ratio: 5 to 1.

The program will emphasize specialized instruction in the following areas: passing, shooting, dribbling, footwork, overall conditioning, plus post and perimeter play.

Participants will be provided with on-going positive feedback aimed at correcting and improving specific fundamentals. Participants will be involved in a variety of skill contests and will be exposed to various special game-type situations. Each participant will receive a MUMBA jersey for them to keep.

Discipline and Cancellation Policy

Discipline Policy

Any serious violations of the program regulations(damage to school property, disrespect to coaches, or other behaviour deemed detrimental to the group) will result in immediate dismissal from the program.
If a child is dismissed or voluntarily withdraws from the program, there will be no refund.

Cancellation Policy

A $75 administration fee will be retained if you cancel before June 1, 2010. After June 1, 2010 refunds(less administration fee) will be made only for medical reasons when accompanied by a letter from a physician.
If a child is injured during the camp and must leave the program , there will be NO refund granted.
All refunds will be processed after August 31, 2010.


Summer Camp Staff

Our staff is selected from an excellent array of coaches in order to provide the best instruction possible. Our coaches come from High Schools, Elementary Schools and Community Rep Programs. They are all certified by Ontario Basketball Association and presently coach senior teams at both the High School and Elementary Level. The assistant instructors come from the University and MUMBA Rep Programs.


Parent Responsibility

Parents are welcome to stay and watch their child's games. They are expected to provide transportation to and from the school gym and are expected to arrive on time to pick-up their child.

Children are expected to bring a lunch & drinks, MUMBA will provide a refreshment in the afternoon. Please do not bring any peanut based products into the gym.Mumba will provide afternoon refreshments.
